Frequently Asked Questions

u

Do you accept insurance?

Our services are private pay only. We accept credit card and HSA cards. Although we do not take insurance, we can provide you with a superbill at the end of the month for you to submit.

u

My child had a recent evaluation. Do they need another one?

Based on your current concerns, if your child has had a thorough and appropriate evaluation completed elsewhere within the last 12 months, we typically accept the evaluation to initiate therapy.

u

How often do therapy sessions occur?

Most therapy sessions through SOAR Pediatric Therapy are 1x/week for 45 minutes. However, depending on your child’s needs, family’s goals, and individualized treatment plan; frequency and duration of sessions may vary. We will work with you to determine the best plan to meet your needs (scheduling, financially, etc.) and goals.

u

Who can be present for the session?

Anyone! Since SOAR encourages family and caregiver education to ensure carry over of skills, we always welcome family members, siblings and/or of caregivers to be present for the session. However, we also understand some children do better if parents are not present!

u

Where do therapy sessions take place?

SOAR has a deep passion for meeting children and their families in their natural environments—homes, daycares/schools, parks, restaurants, and stores. Most of our therapy sessions take place in the home; however we will work with you to determine the best place for your child’s therapy session.

Why choose private therapy?

SOAR Pediatric Therapy provides customized therapy sessions that are tailored specifically to meet your child and family’s unique needs. Our emphasis is on building strong connections with your child and your family. Strong connections create trust and a strong foundation for effective treatment. Additionally, our caseloads are limited in order to provide each family with quality one-on-one time and attention, necessary for parent education, carryover of skills and progress toward goals.
