Speech Therapy

ABOUT Soar speech

We believe that each child learns differently.  Therefore, we provide 1:1 therapy in your child’s natural environment (i.e in-home, in the community, at school, etc.) to meet your child’s and family’s functional goals. We strongly encourage parents and caregivers to be active participants in our sessions to ensure maximum carryover to your child’s daily routine. Speech therapy addresses a variety of disorders, delays, etc., including:

Katee has come into our home on a weekly basis for nearly a year, and I cannot begin to tell you what a difference she has made in the life of our son.  The results thus far have been nothing short of amazing.  I am so thankful that she has been able to work with my son early on during his TBI and stroke recovery, and that was able to connect with him so well.  She is able to get him motivated to work but at the same time have so much fun. She is always on time, prepared, and thinks of new fun things to work on. I cannot recommend her enough.

We have loved working with Elizabeth! My 6 year old really enjoys his time with her, and his speech has improved dramatically since he began. It’s so convenient that she comes to his school, and she sends a very thorough report (usually with fun pictures!) so I don’t feel like I’ve missed a thing. Elizabeth has figured out a way to make speech fun, and we have been so happy and proud to see the progress. Thank you, Elizabeth!!

I am so pleased with the progress my eight year old son made in speech therapy with Elizabeth Sestini. Elizabeth made it fun for him and kept him engaged by always having new games and creative functional activities each session. She also taught me how to help my son between speech therapy visits. Evaluations

We provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for children aged 12 months to 25 years.  Our evaluation approach includes customized measurement of speech and language skills utilizing various assessments focused on your family’s concerns and goals.
